EminentWare Support & Maintenance Information

Support & Maintenance Package (SMP)

EminentWare's Support & Maintenance Package (SMP) is available in one or three-year plans, and provides access to EminentWare User Support services as well as maintenance releases and updates that are released during your SMP period.

  • Maintenance Releases & Updates
    SMP customers are eligible to receive maintenance releases and software updates that are released during their SMP term. Maintenance releases and updates cover the specific edition of the product for which you have purchased an SMP.
  • Reporting
    During the support period you may also report any software problem or errors to EminentWare using the same support process described above. If EminentWare determines that a reported reproducible material error in the software exists which significantly impairs the usability and utility of the software, EminentWare will make reasonable efforts to provide a usable work-around solution or to correct the issue in an upcoming maintenance release or update (made available at EminentWare's sole discretion).

Other important SMP information:

  • Support Period
    The Support & Maintenance Package (SMP) currently offered with our products covers the product for which it is being purchased for a period of either one or three years. The support period begins on the product purchase date and extends for a period of 12 or 36 months, depending on the SMP purchased. An existing SMP customer may renew an SMP for an additional one- or three-year period during the term of the SMP. During the support period, you will receive Support & Maintenance services from EminentWare as described on this page and in section 3 of the EminentWare end-user license agreement ("EULA") or in the SMP Terms of Use, as applicable.
  • Save big with SMP Renewals
    If you are an existing SMP customer, you have the opportunity to renew your Support & Maintenance Package for a period of one or three years. Renewing your SMP will allow you to extend the duration of your support period to receive all maintenance releases and major software versions released during that time. Renewals must be purchased before your current SMP expires and can be ordered up to 90 days in advance.
